University of Kentucky workers need a union?

That is definately for them to decide. I would suggest the card-check procedure, and soon. See the article below from the AFL-CIO.

I am under the impression that the faculty already have a union - at least a voluntary one.

Overheard:

One UK employee to another, "Ask him, he's a union man." (that was me)
"I just need to make more money - not less."
"That three and a half percent is over 5 years." (that wasn't how it was reported to the rest of us - some clarification would be nice)
In response to a query of some sort... I didn't hear that part... "as long as they don't join a union."
