This is class warfare...

http://thinkprogress.org/2006/04/14/exxon-ceo-190k-day/

Yep, that's what that link says, the Exxon CEO made $190k a day. How can Exxon afford his fat ass (he really is fat)? He is in a very successful business, that also recieves tons of government subsidies. As citizens, we own a significant portion (40%) of the US through the government - Daniel Boone Forest is an example. That portion has significant oil and gas in it. Some value what is taken by these companies as low as $37 Billion - as high as $64 Billion. The energy bill handed out another $8 Billion. We have spent over $300 Billion for access to the second largest collection in the world of their resource - never mind the soldier's lives (not at all really).

None of that has any effect on the price of the pump for some reason - let Bush explain that to you. Sure, demand is up worldwide, that's why we hand them that stuff. The price at the pump should have stayed the same.

I do not hold stock in Exxon Mobile. I am not their employee. Why do I have the right to complain? I PAY TAXES! THAT IS MY (and your) FLAG PLANTED IN IRAQ! Am I arguing against the war? NO, not here - I don't want to subsidize a $190k a day CEO habit.
