Cruiser Call Summary

Two days later on 590 Cruiser says that he will talk about Right to Work for Less. I call to find out when. When the time comes I am the first caller. I try to set the stage for the conversation by saying that without the union I would not have health insurance, how it was won for me in a strike in 1983, and I thank those who sacrificed their income during that strike for my benefit. I later learned that it wasn't 1983, but I had good reason to believe that as 1983 is when UPS employees have red-circled seniority dates. It worked, as the tone towards unions never got ugly. After listening to talk radio for a long time, the radio talk shows can get that way very easily towards progressive things.
